Artist Statement:
First Snow is the first in a series of short videos created from my parents’ 35mm photographs and Super 8 footage from the 70’s. For this video, I recorded an informal conversation with my Mother and Father while they watched the footage I had previously put together from their old footage. The result is a montage and an audio commentary of the winter images my parents hadn’t seen in about thirty years.
